TIME FOR A DRIVER CHANGE

V8 COMMODORE (LUMINA) SS SUPER CAR

SOLD

This road-going version of the Australian HSV Racing Commodore was born in Melbourne, and given to its current owner as a present from a Saudi Sheikh. Brought from Bahrain to Dubai, its longest drives have been done in containers on ships.

The A380 Captain is retiring to Oz and is sadly relinquishing this rare car. Since
Jeremy Clarkson called it the best muscle-car ever made, twice in Dubai people have come up and tried to buy it ... (you'll get used to it).

It has been lovingly cared-for. Black with red leather interior, the windows have been treated with dark DU Guard Thermal Tinting to make it cooler in summer. It has a glass sunroof as standard. It has never spent a night out in the open.

Five adults can be seated comfortably and the huge boot accommodates two full-sized suitcases when you have to do the airport run.

The car has never had a speeding fine in Dubai, and is the winner of the Dubai Police
White Points Award … but it can go very, very fast if needed. It has never been crashed. Just don’t turn off the traction control unless you hold a racing licence.

Maintained regularly by the GMH dealer since it was born in mid
2005, it has just had its 70,000 kms service, even though it has only travelled 66,000 kms. [Yes, the tail-shaft bushes have been replaced and it has a brand new battery]

You will enjoy service stations as you jump the queue to join the Porsches; the filler cap is on the right hand side … unlike most cars in Dubai. (In all cars the petrol hose on the dash logo indicates which side the filler cap is on)

START SAVING! The A380 Captain needs to drive the car until he leaves, so you have time to save for the purchase price of 40,000 aed. Everything is negotiable. A deposit will secure it for you. It is important that this unique piece of motoring history is sold to the right person. Hopefully that person is you.
